FERROUS SULFATE HEPTAHYDRATE

Sulfate ferrous is an efficient primary coagulant based on divalent iron (Fe2+) in the form of crystals that can easily dissolve. It is used in the phosphorus removal in the coprecipitation process in wastewater treatment.

Safe handlin: The contact with the product should be minimized with good ventilation. Use protective clothing, including a respirator mask and rubber gloves. In case of contact with the eyes, immediately wash with plenty of water and seek medical help. If ingested, rinse the mouth and throat with water, drink plenty of water. Storage: Ferrous sulfate dissolves easily, both in batches and continuously. Good agitation is required during dilution to avoid lumps and sedimentation. Dilution of the product results in a decrease in temperature of the solution. The solution should not be saturated, so low concentration dilutions should be used. The diluted product can be dosed using chemical dosing pumps.
